Jack J. Verdone

Jack Joseph Verdone of McKinney, Texas went to heaven on November 2, 2013 at the age of 88. He worked as a master welder in the California shipyards before being drafted into the Army Air Force in 1943. Jack was stationed in Kearney, Nebraska where he met and fell in love with Ada Laverne Boettcher.  They were married September 1, 1944.  He worked in the field of sales where he achieved accomplishments in the welding industry.  Jack was a volunteer fireman in Roselle, Illinois for many years.  He loved traveling throughout the United States with Ada in their travel trailers. He loved to dance, sing and talk. We all love you and we will be with you again.

Jack is survived by his loving daughters, Christine McTague and Nadine Hartley; grandchildren, Tanya, Michelle, Michael and Mark; great-grandchildren, Trey, Jacqualyn, Mikenzi, Gavin, Triston, Brody and Skylar; nephew, Vince Verdone.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Verdone; parents, Vincent and Christina Verdone; brother, Joseph and sisters, Constance and Joan. 

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
