Mrs. Jewell Nell Robinson, age 79, of Carrollton, Texas passed away December 17, 2005 in California. She was born April 27, 1926, in Kemp, Texas to Barney Harry and Jiffie Louise (Richardson) McMannis. On December 25, 1946, she married Jack Edward Robinson in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Robinson attended Texas Women’s Univeristy where she studied music. She was a member of Eastern Star and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carrollton, Texas. She is survived by her daughters, Shari Louise Walkup and husband, Bill of San Clemente, California; and son, Jack Edward Robinson, Jr. of Lake Tahoe, California. Her husband, Jack preceded her in death on December 22, 1999. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2005, at the Abbey Chapel in Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service for visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
