Mr. J. Edward Fisher age 83 of Wylie, Texas passed away on April 28, 2007 in Wylie. He was born on December 22, 1923 in Lick Run, Virginia to Verna Everett and Lola Ethel (Tucker) Hosey. Ed married Mildred Elizabeth Sims on January 13, 1945 in Farmersville, Texas. He was a Plaster and Tile Setter and was a member of the Wylie Church of Christ. Mr. Fisher was a bareback rider, retired member of the Rodeo Club and Turtle Association, which later became the P.R.C.A. He is survived by his wife, Mildred E. Fisher of Wylie; son, Daniel E. Fisher and wife Pamela of Wylie; daughter, Karen Lynette Smith and husband Jay of Wylie; grandchildren, Cheri and her husband Todd Noles of Grapevine, Texas, Christi and her husband Scott Blankenship of Tyler, Texas, Dustin Fisher of Land O Lakes, Florida and Zachary Joel Smith of Wylie; great-grandchildren, Trevor and Cara Noles and McKenzi, Madelyn and Will Blankenship. He is preceded in death by his son, John Thomas Fisher, parents, four brothers and one sister. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home with Minister Alvis Nichols officiating. Internment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Monday, April 30, 2007 to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM
