Ira Byron Huff, age 82, of McKinney, Texas passed away November 1, 2008, in McKinney. He was born on January 4, 1926, in Cleburne, Texas to Ira Byron Huff, Sr. and Della (McMullin) Huff. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. On February 2, 1968, he married Dolores Ann Beason in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Huff was an oil field supply foreman for 33 years. He was a church deacon for many years and an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Ann Huff of McKinney; daughters, Linda Doak of McKinney, Brenda Huff and Carol Huff of Sachse, Texas; grandchild, Colton Doak of McKinney; and sisters, Margie Hartwick of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Idella Sturgess of Tulia, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Laneta Malone Huff; brothers, Frank Huff, Richard Huff and Melvin Huff; sisters, Myrtle Clark, Ozell Futrell, Patsy Medlin, Anyne Otwell; and son-in-law, Mark Doak. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at the Church of Christ Church, 3600 McDermott Road in Plano, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive family and friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
