Ida Sartain, age 89, of Princeton, Texas passed away May 24, 2004, in McKinney, Texas. She was born September 23, 1914, in Leonard, Texas to James Franklin and Florence Hardelia (Mott) Fuller. On March 19, 1932, she married Sam Jones Sartain in Melissa, Texas. Mrs. Sartain was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her sons, Jacky Sartain and wife, Susan of Princeton and Sammy Sartain and wife, Joanne of Mckinney; daughters, Callie Barker of Rockwall, Texas, Jean Cawthon and Ellen Culberson both of Princeton; 34 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and 29 great-great grandchildren; brother, J.M. Fuller of Bonham, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Sartain; son, Kenneth Sartain, daughter, Georgia Raulston; grandson, Little Sam Sartain, 2 great-grandchildren, Joe Dee Loftice and Clint Larey; sister, Alpha Omega Herod; and brother, Granville Fuller. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Stan Fike officiating. Interment will follow at Melissa Cemetery, in Melissa, Texas. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
