Mrs. Hope L. Shaddox, age 62, of Kaufman, Texas passed away December 28, 2004, in Kaufman. She was born April 26, 1942, in Iraan, Texas. On January 18, 1962, she married Marvin Eugene Shaddox in Dallas. She was a dedicated and hard working employee of Kaufman ISD and Richardson ISD with over 28 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son, Rick Shaddox and wife, Rowena of Vacaville, California; daughter, Stephanie Young and husband, William of Kaufman; grandchildren, Alexandra and Sabrina Shaddox; sister, Charlene Harrison of Lubbock, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband, Marvin preceded her in death in 1990. Her son, Gregory Scott Shaddox and brother, Douglas Wilson, also preceded her in death. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at Restland Memorial Park with Rev. James Michael Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
