Herman Holley, age 74, of McKinney, Texas, passed away January 25, 2010, in McKinney. Herman was born in Pilot Point, Texas on August 7, 1935, to Otis Herman and Ora D. (Vaughn) Holley. He married Betty Jo Hall on April 16, 1956, in McKinney , Texas . Herman was the owner of Holley Construction in McKinney, Texas. He is survived by his children, James Leon Holley (Karen) of The Colony, Texas, Rickey Carl Hall of Ft. Worth, Texas, Billy Don Holley (Tammy) of McKinney, Texas, Terry Lynn Holley (LaTonya) of The Colony, Texas, Joe Bob Holley, Jo Anne Holley, both of McKinney, Texas, Bobbie Kay Gipson (Jeffery) of Plano, Texas, Johnny Holley (Stephanie) of McKinney, Texas, Ronny Holley, also of McKinney, Paula Annette Brown (David) of Princeton, Texas, Sharon Denise White (Micah Berry) of Allen, Texas, and Quateryvia Jackson of McKinney, Texas; thirty-three grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; godson, Ronald Norman of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brothers, John Holley of McKinney, Texas, Otis Holley of Plano, Texas; and sisters, Bernice Lowe, Cleo Kennedy, Betty Pruitt, and Linda Phillips all of Dallas, Texas, and Mary Davis of McKinney, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2010, at First Baptist Church, 401 W. Erwin St., McKinney, Texas with Rev. Lee Edwards and Dr. S. C. Nash officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
