Herman Hanna, age 78, of Richardson, Texas, passed away December 3, 2015. Herman was born February 5, 1937, in Ellis County, Texas, to Johnnie Andrew and Rosa Lee (Lowe) Hanna. He married Janett Knowles on October 7, 1958, in Durant, Oklahoma. Herman proudly served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Janett Hanna of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Tammie Hanna of Wylie, Texas; son, David Hanna and wife, Shealie of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren, Amber Blagg of Carrollton, Texas, Micheal John Hanna of Ft. Worth, Texas, Joshua George of The Colony, Texas, Shealie Christine Grimes of Plano, Texas, and Jacob George of The Colony; great-grandchildren, Ben Blagg and Bryton Blagg, both of Carrollton, Texas, Joseph Grimes of Plano, Texas, and Scarlett George of The Colony, Texas; sisters, Louise Buckelow of Garland, Texas and Shirley Foster of Carrollton, Texas; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday evening, December 8, 2015 at the funeral home.
