Mr. Herbert Eugene Kiser, age 77 of McKinney, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007 in McKinney, Texas. He was born May 13, 1929 in Frisco, Texas to James Franklin and Callie Edna (Chaplin) Kiser. In 1966, Herbert married Velma Cox in Durant, Oklahoma. Mrs. Kiser preceded him in death. Mr. Kiser worked in construction and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his sister, Gladys Clem of McKinney, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents and 7 brothers, Mellard, Joe, Cecil, Bernice, Wade, Bob, and Everette. The family would like to express their thanks to Senior Select, Outreach Home Health, and Baybrooke Village for their unselfish care and kindness during Mr. Kiser's last few years. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2007 in the Turrentine-Ja ckson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Monday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation at the funeral home Monday evening beginning at 7 PM.
