Henry "Hank" Thomas Hedgcoxe

Henry “Hank” Thomas Hedgcoxe, age 76, of Parker, Texas, passed away on April 22, 2012.  He was born August 10, 1935, in Plano, Texas, to Jack Brown and Dorothy Louise (Pannell) Hedgcoxe.  On July 6, 1956, Henry married Ilene Crank in Allen, Texas.  He grew up in Collin County, where he attended schools and graduated from Allen High School in 1953; he attended college at the University of Texas.  Henry owned and operated Hedgcoxe Construction.  He was a referee for thirty years with the Southwest Football Officials Association.  Henry served on the school board in Allen and was a member of First Christian Church in Allen.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Ilene Hedgcoxe of Parker, Texas; children, Toni Garcia and husband David of Rockwall, Texas, Kristi Hedgcoxe-Byrd and husband Eric of Allen, Texas, Jack Hedgcoxe and wife Annie of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Jodi Hedgcoxe, Casi Garcia, Kaili Garcia, Jack T. Hedgcoxe, Jr. and Joeley Hedgcoxe; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Holden Hedgcoxe; sisters, Barbara Bentley of Plano, Texas, Sue Jackson and husband Dan of Waco, Texas.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Louise Hedgcoxe.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on April 27, 2012, at Allen Cemetery in Allen, Texas, with Gary Speer officiating.
