Helen Louise Rutledge, age 85, of McKinney, Texas, passed away October 17, 2013, in Princeton, Texas. Louise was born April 14, 1928, in McKinney, Texas, to Clarence Wesley and Ethel (Gladden) Davis. She married Willie Earl Rutledge on May 28, 1946, in McKinney. Louise worked at the Cotton Mill and at Haggar Pants Factory as a seamstress. Not one to retire, Louise was then employed in the cafeteria at Faubion Jr. High in McKinney. She was a member of North Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Danny Rutledge and wife, Vickie of Caldwell, Texas and Garry Rutledge and wife, Debbie of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Libby Rutledge of Brenham, Texas, Chris Rutledge and wife, Kim of College Station, Texas, Michelle Pearson and husband, Steve of Skiatook, Oklahoma, and Clint Rutledge and wife, Angela of Prosper, Texas; great-grandchildren, Madison Rutledge, Taylor Rutledge, Jordyn Pearson, Cole Pearson, Easton Pearson, Karsyn Rutledge, and Rylan Rutledge; and sister, Mary Jo Jones of Rhea Mills, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Audryus Faye Harlow.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2013, at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
