Helen Hall, age 93, of Princeton, Texas, passed away November 8, 2014. Helen was born June 20, 1921, in Melissa, Texas, to W. S. and Artie (Raulston) Roach. She married Blaine Hall on March 23, 1940 in Sherman, Texas. Helen grew up in Melissa. She enjoyed embroidering, gardening, and caring for her grandchildren. Helen was a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen, Texas where she was active in her Sunday School class when she was able to go.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Hall Redden and husband, Doug of Princeton, Texas and Sandra Hall Godwin and husband, Glenn of Caddo Mills, Texas; son, Jerry Hall and wife, Carolyn of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson, Terry Redden, great-grandsons, Jake Mehmen and Joel Douglas, four brothers, and one sister.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
