Mrs. Hazel Louise Pettway, age 77, of Seguin, Texas formerly of McKinney, Texas passed away on February 1, 2004, in Seguin. She was born on July 11, 1926, in Rhuebottom, Oklahoma to Walter Clayton and Essie (Langley) Hearon. She married Allen Pearcy Pettway on May 6, 1980, in McKinney, Texas. Mrs. Pettway was a press operator in the Dry Cleaner business and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her sons, Danny Lee Roberson of Krum, Texas, Berman Finley Roberson, Jr. of Savoy, Texas, and Raymond Clayton Roberson of Denison, Texas; daughters, Belva Jean Fortin of Seguin, Texas and Sharon Joy Roberson of McKinney, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Jim Freeman Hearon of College Station, Texas; and sister, Jo Ramsey of Euless, Texas. Mrs. Pettway was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 2 brothers. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 5, 2004 at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
