Mr. Harold Allen “Tobe” Veach, age 92, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 22, 2010. He was born October 6, 1917, in Alvord, Texas to Lewis and Louisa (Scoggins) Veach. Mr. Veach was preceded in death by his first wife, Jo, whom he married October 9, 1950, in Dodge City, Kansas. On June 21, 1997, he married Charlcie O’Dell, in McKinney. Mr. Veach was the owner of Vedal Pipeline. He was an active member of High Pointe Church of Christ in McKinney. He is survived by his wife, Charlcie Veach; his son and daughter-in-law, Warren and Sherri Veach of Plano, Texas. Charlcie’s children, Pat and Rosie O’Dell of Brisbane, Australia and Judy and George Bomar of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by his and Charlcie’s grandchildren, Shaunna Briscoe and husband, Bear, David O’Dell and wife, Rachel, Ryan O’Dell and wife, Shannon, Elise Button and husband, Drew, Brittany Vidler and husband, Garth, Matthew Bomar, Mark Bomar and wife, Ashleigh and Luke Bomar; and great grandchildren, Shai and Holden Briscoe and Riley Bomar. His parents, and 11 brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2010, at the High Pointe Church of Christ in McKinney with ministers George Bomar and Pat O’Dell officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
