Harold James Brussow

Harold James Brussow was born November 13, 1931 in Rives Junction, Michigan to William Henry Brussow and Evelyn Merle Green Brussow Hill. He married Elda Fay Cambron on October 8, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma. He died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Homestead of Sherman in Sherman, Texas at the age of 83. He was a resident of Denison, Texas.

Harold was a life long truck driver and mechanic. He served his nation in the U.S. Air Force during Korea. He was a member of the Parkside Baptist Church in Denison and was active in the Pacesetters ministry. He was the designated bus driver for the Pacesetters when they travelled. He was greatly loved and will be missed.

He is survived by daughter, Deborah Folio of Wichita Falls; son, Bill Brussow and wife Becky of Howe; son, James Brussow and wife Janet of Frisco; grandchildren, Gina, Jessica, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Cody, Hunter, Jared, and Cierra; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Emma; brother, Don Brussow and wife Mary of Stockbridge, Michigan; sister, Doris Jones of Leslie, Michigan; and sister-in-law, Gladys Cambron of Denison. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Elda F. Brussow; his parents, William and Evelyn; brother, Richard Brussow; and brother-in-law, Richard Jones.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jerry Coffman. Honorary Pallbearers will be the grandchildren, Gina Daniel, Jessica Roberts, Zachary Brussow, Kaitlyn Brussow, Cody Brussow, Hunter Brussow, Jared Brussow, and Cierra Brussow.

Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Friday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 5-7pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas.
