Gwen A. Day, age 73, of Allen, Texas passed away April 10, 2005, at her home. She was born on August 13, 1931, in Purcell, Oklahoma to Gaither G. and Huldah (Young) Gaither. In April of 1955, she married David Day in Vickery, Texas. Mrs. Day was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, David Day of Allen; son, Troy Day of Whitney, Texas; daughter, Dorinda Day of Denver, Colorado; grandchild, Angie McFadden of Van Buren, Arkansas; brother, Gaither Bray of Connecticut; and great-grandchild, Blaise McFadden of Van Buren, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and her parents. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas.
