Guy Lee went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, September 26, 2012. Guy was born March 8, 1916 to Rush and Elsie (Callahan) Lee in the Bilderback Community between Weston and Celina, Texas. Guy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Frances; grandparents, C.A. and Carrie (Bilderback) Callahan, Thomas and Brunetta (Ferrell) Lee; brothers, Les Lee, Jack Lee, Earl Lee; aunts, Bess (Callahan) Marks, Jewell (Callahan) Buchanan, Cass (Callahan) Flanery; uncles, Jim Callahan, Walter Callahan, Jim Lee, Ira Lee; nieces, Jacqueline Lee Ray; Juanita Smith; nephew, Frank Lee; his beloved grand-dog, Flash Holleman, who was his buddy.  

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Allen Holleman; brother and sister-in-law, Lewis and Aretha Lee; nephews, Marshall Lee, Benny Lee; great-nieces, Gayle Gilbreath, Stacey Taylor; great-nephews, Scott Lee and Russell Lee. 

Guy was a member of Spring Oaks Baptist Church. While living in Celina, he served on the Volunteer Fire Department. He was employed by Sheets Blacksmith and Welding Shop for many years before moving to Kansas City, Missouri. There, he was employed by Hessee Carriage Company until his retirement. Following the death of his wife, he returned to Texas to be near his daughter and son-in-law where he resided for the last twenty-one years.  

Guy was a favorite customer of Cracker Barrel and could frequently be seen driving his red car around town until he became homebound. He was loved by many and will be truly missed.  

A funeral service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas with Reverend Jimmy Walthall officiating. Private interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas at a later date.
