Mr. Gregory Eli Keys, age 56 of Plano, Texas passed away on February 4, 2006 in Plano. He was born on June 27, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to Harold and Gertrude (Montgomery) Keys. He married Rita Grogan on June 27, 1970 in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Keys served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree and his Masters of Business Administration, his J.J.D. from the University of Oregon. Mr. Keys was Vice President of Distribution for GTE and owned his own computer company. He is survived by his wife, Rita Keys of Plano, Texas; children, Tera Keys also of Plano, Lyssa Keys of Frisco, Texas, Adrienne Keys and Kristin Keys both of Plano, Texas; mother, Gertrude Petry of Abbeville, Louisiana; brothers, Leo Keyes of Austin, Texas and Albert Keys of Palo Alto, California; and sisters, Linda Wright and Pat Ma Hews of Abbeville, Louisiana. Mr. Keys was preceded in death by his father and sister, Kim Petry. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 9, 2006 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Leo Keyes officiating.
