Granvolee Hansard, 89 of Tom Bean, Texas, died Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, Texas. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. John Hall. The family will receive friends on Wednesday 10:00am til service time at Earnheart Funeral Home in Whitewright. Memorials may be made to Wilson N. Jones Auxiliary Group. Granvolee Hansard was born June 28, 1919 at Whitewright, Texas to Earl Hansard and Kugga Blanton Hansard. He graduated from Whitewright High School, June 1, 1937 and attended Yale University. He married Osalee Billner on August 16, 1941 at Durant, Oklahoma. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp from 1939 to 1946. He then worked for Braniff Airlines for 36 years from 1946 until retiring in 1982. He was preceded in death by his wife, Osalee Hansard on September 17, 2006 and parents, Earl and Kugga Hansard. He is survived by brother, Jack Hansard of Sherman; brother, Ray Hansard and wife Mary of Irving; sister-in-law, Helen Billner of Whitewright; son, Mark Hansard and wife Betty of Marlow, Oklahoma; daughter, Kay Jennings and husband Bud of Denton; grandson, Rex Jennings of Kansas City, Missouri; grandson, Bryce Hansard of Marlow, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Lisa Jennings of Little Elm.
