Gracie Louise Zachary of Plano, Texas went to dance with the angels on February 13, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born on April 14, 1925 to Ernest and Gracie (Wallace) Scott in Mead, Oklahoma. Louise married Leeton Zachary on February 21, 1942 in Rockwall, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1999. Louise and her husband were well known in the community for their talents in home construction and for the many days of traveling in their motor homes, some of which they built.
Louise is survived by her brother, Al Scott and his wife, Julie of Mineola, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Carl A. Scott and Olen B. Scott; and her sisters, Lucille Marshall and Dorothy I. Bryant.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
