Mrs. Goldie Alleen Crutcher Wynn, a native of McKinney, Texas, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, went to heaven on January 17, 2007. She was born June 23, 1911, in McKinney, Texas, to Joseph Samuel and Sarah Virginia Crutcher, decendants of Tennessee pioneer families who moved to Collin County in the late 1870’s. On November 30, 1933, she married Alvin Royce Wynn in McKinney, Texas. Before retiring Goldie Alleen worked for the Department of Agriculture and Fannie Mae. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and was an inspiration and joy to those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters Pat Reins and her husband Erich, Barbara Lindsay and her husband Jim; granddaughters Laura Harkey, Leslie McCord and her husband Rick, and Jennifer Lindsay; great-grandaughters Lindsey and Lacey Harkey; sister Ruth Hayes; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Alvin Royce Wynn; parents Joseph Samuel and Sarah Virginia Crutcher. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 20, 2007, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5871 W. Virginia Parkway, McKinney, Texas, with Pastor Patrick E. McCoy officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home at their convenience on Friday, January 19, 2007, to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 PM. Memorials may be made to and for the church she loved: The Goldie Alleen Wynn Memorial Fund, Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5871 W. Virginia Parkway, McKinney, Texas.
