Glenn Gordon Geddis, age 78, of Whitesboro, Texas passed away January 14, 2004, in McKinney, Texas. He was born November 4, 1925, in Brentwood, Pennsylvania to George F. and Kathleen (Gorman) Geddis. On August 24, 1945, he married Elizabeth Gentry in Huntington, West Virginia. Mr. Geddis served in the U.S. Airforce. He was Staff Vice President of Advertising for Braniff International and a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Sherman. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Geddis of Whitesboro, Texas; daughters, Rhonda Duncan and husband, Duaine of Allen, Texas and Sue Grigsby and husband, Lee of Flower Mound, Texas; son, Tim Geddis of Dallas; brother, Keith Geddis and wife, Pat of Castle Rock, Colorado; sister, Donna Singer of Littleton, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, Jason Geddis, Samantha Frey, Chelsea Grigsby and Grant Grigsby; 2 great-grandchildren, Michael Geddis and Alyssa Geddis. His parents and 2 brothers preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2004, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 401 S. Crockett, Sherman with Rev. James Sproat officiating.
