Glenn William Brown, age 57, of Caddo Mills, Texas, passed away January 12, 2009, in Caddo Mills. Glenn was born April 20, 1951 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to William Lovelle and Elizabeth Katherine (Doyle) Brown. He married Linda Gay Ogle on September 1, 1995 in San Antonio, Texas. Glenn graduated from Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge. He attended Louisiana State University and later earned his pharmaceutical degree from Northeast Louisiana University. Glenn was a pharmacist for many years at various pharmacies including Greenville Hospital for five years. He was a longtime member of St. Andrews Christian Church in Carrollton, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Linda O. Brown of Caddo Mills; daughter, Kristie L. Beassie of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sons, Matt W. Brown, also of Baton Rouge and John C. Hammonds of Caddo Mills; grandchildren, Blaize J. Brown, Hunter Brown, Clay Beassie, and Noah S. Hammonds; sisters, Carolyn Brown Strong of Madison, Mississippi and Katherine Brown Melencon of Baton Rouge; brother, David A. Brown of The Colony, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Brown. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, January 15, 2009, at St. Andrews Christian Church in Carrollton, Texas with Rev. Dr. Randall Smithson officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday at Poole Sutton Cemetery in Elm Grove, Louisiana. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
