Glenda A. Holley, age 81, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on June 17, 2015. She was born on October 15, 1933 in Frisco, Texas, to Leon and Elnora (Bollin) Tutson. On December 27, 1951 Glenda married John Robert Holley in McKinney, Texas. She was a member of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Gloria Bell and husband Cecil of McKinney, Texas, Vickie Thompson and husband L.C. of Wylie, Texas; grandchildren, Rebecca Lewis of Houston, Texas, John Mark Holley of Allen, Texas, Stephanie Holley Key and husband Charles of Colleyville, Texas, Conswala Bell of Dallas, Texas and Holly Thompson of Dallas, Texas; great-grandchildren, Destiny Rogers of Dallas, Texas, Dathan Redic of Sacramento, California, Gloria Rogers of Houston, Texas, Mia Dulin of Colleyville, Texas, Jordyn Thompson-Stephenson of Wylie, Texas and Prince Charles Key of Colleyville, Texas; great-great-grandchild, Michelle Latrease Redic; sisters, Lorene Richardson of The Colony, Texas and Cecil Smith of Dallas, Texas; as well as a very close family, Barbara Paxton of Dallas, Texas, Daniel Paxton, Zachary Paxton, Ellen Paxton and Mark Paxton of Allen, Texas.
Glenda is preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Holley; parents, Leon and Elnora Tutson; brothers, Leon Tutson, Jr., Billy Jean Tutson; and sister, Nora Mae Feagin.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2015 at Mount Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church, 821 Rockwall Street, McKinney, Texas, with eulogist Aaron Phillips and Rev. Jerome Knox officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
