Mrs. Glenda Olene Day Cottle, age 83, of Euless, Texas, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born June 9, 1923 to John R. and Agnes (McTaggart) Day in Wetsel, Texas. On November 10, 1940, Glenda married Temple D. Cottle in Durant, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 21, 1996. Mrs. Cottle worked for a number of years as a PBX Operator at Irving Community Hospital and was a member of South Euless Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, John Perry Cottle and his wife Barbara of Gladewater, Texas, and Temple Dudley Cottle and his wife Deborah of Hurst, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; son; daughter; great-grandchild; 2 brothers; and 1 sister. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 20, 2006 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas with Rev. Johnny Kimberlin officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM, Sunday at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
