Gladys Aline Price, age 77, of Murphy, Texas, passed away February 14, 2014, in Wylie, Texas. Gladys was born March 1, 1936, in Collin County, Texas, to David Alford and Jewell (Cannady) Gilcrease. Gladys grew up in Collin County and graduated from McKinney High School. She worked at Texas Instruments as a technical inspector in the Quality Control Department. Gladys enjoyed sewing.
She is survived by her sisters, Louise Holcomb of Waco, Texas, Pauline Duer of Anna, Texas, and Rhonda Nelson of Plano, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jerry Price, brothers, R. B. Gilcrease and Doug Gilcrease, and sister, Pinkie Bardin.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2014, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Sunday to pay their respects and sign the register book.
