Gerry Klemm, age 74, of Princeton, Texas, passed away July 12, 2008, in McKinney, Texas. Gerry was born December 7, 1933, in McKinney, Texas, to Gradis Houston and Lois (Donaldson) Pamplin. She married Jim Klemm on May 29, 1958 in McKinney. Gerry obtained a bachelor degree in English and a master degree in Spanish from North Texas State University. Gerry was co-owner, with her husband Jim, of Klemm’s Furniture in McKinney for twenty-nine years. She was a former member of McKinney Art Club. Gerry was a former school teacher at Princeton High School where she taught Spanish, English, and French. She taught at Texas Instruments, in addition to teaching Spanish at Connor State College in Warner, Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband, Jim of Princeton, Texas; sons, Eric Klemm of Princeton, Texas, Chris Klemm and wife, Wendy of McKinney, Texas, Tim Klemm of Frisco, Texas, and Paul Klemm and wife Amanda also of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel and wife, Martha, Mike, C.J., Kendall, Griffyn, Carter, Katie, Connor, and Kamryn; future great-grandchild, Isabelle; brother, Gary Pamplin of Austin, Texas; numerous other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gradis and Lois Pamplin, brother, David Pamplin, daughter-in-law, Teresa Klemm, and granddaughter, Payton Klemm. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at Melissa Cemetery in Melissa, Texas with Rev. Stan Fike officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
