Georgia Steffano, age 73, of McKinney, Texas passed away September 27, 2011. She was born July 27, 1938 in Albany, Kentucky to Edward Sell and Oleta “Vaughn” Sell Bertram. Georgia was raised and attended school in Dayton, Ohio. She worked for Wichita General Hospital in Wichita Falls as an administrative assistant for 30 years until her retirement in 2006. Her passion was the chairing of The Children’s Miracle Network for 5 years. Georgia was an avid shopper. She was a member of Grace Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. She is survived by her children, Steve Coy and wife, Jeanette of McKinney, Texas, Candy Matthews and husband, Dr. Rindy of Lewisville, Texas; grandchildren, Rachael Coy, Michael Coy and wife, Shanna, Todd Coy and wife, Stephanie, Dr. Roman Matthews and wife, Amanda, Rocky Matthews and Ryan Matthews; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Chase, Madison, Jakob, Carson and Camber Coy; brother, Burnal Sell of Hillsboro, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Sell; mother, Oleta Sell Bertram; brother and sisters, Madeline, Barbara, Janice and Donnie. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2011, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00-4:00 p.m., Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
