George William Krensavage

George William Krensavage, age 84, of McKinney, Texas passed away June 7, 2011. He was born May 31, 1927 in Pittsburg, Oklahoma to Stanley Krensavage and Mary (Guydis) Krensavage. George proudly served in the United States Navy. On July 3, 1950 he married Katherine Foster in Garner, Iowa. George retired from Rockwell after 25 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He loved attending his grandchildren’s activities, especially the annual Easter Egg Dye. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Krensavage of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Vicki Lynn of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Jan Howard and husband, Neil of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Krystal Stone and husband, Barran of Crossroads, Texas; granddaughter, Melissa Howard and Shawn Moore of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Ashley Chow and husband, Lep of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Wade Krensavage and wife, Kyndra of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Holly Metz and husband, Ryan of Austin, Texas; grandson, Ross Krensavage of Garland, Texas; granddaughter, Kalee Howard of McKinney, Texas; great-grandchildren, Destiney and Noah Stone of Crossroads, Texas and Rhylan Metz of Austin, Texas; sisters-in-law, Doris Sumrow and husband, Jimmy of Humble, Texas and Linda Bloomingdale and husband, David of Humble, Texas; brother-in-law, C.R. Bellomy of Lake Fork, Texas and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Mary Krensavage; son, Stan Krensavage; one brother and six sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2011 at St. John Catholic Church in Strawn, Texas with his cousin, Father John Sostrich Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Marion Cemetery, Strawn, Texas The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Donor Services, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202, www.lls.org in honor of George’s granddaughter, Ashley Howard Chow. Memorials may also be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123, www.cancer.org. in honor of George’s granddaughter, Melissa Howard.
