Genevieve A. Rotundo, age 88, of Allen, Texas passed away August 18, 2005, in Allen. She was born March 24, 1917, in Wadsworth, Illinois to Cyril and Elizabeth (Albrecht) Dietmeyer. She married Philip Rotundo in Norfolk, Virginia during World War II. Mrs. Rotundo was an Honor Society member in high school. She was a homemaker and of the catholic faith. She is survived by her children, Donna Gajeski of Richardson, Texas, Marilyn Rotundo of Davenport, Iowa, Thomas Rotundo of Allen, Patricia Rotundo of Richardson; sisters, Dorothy Spesock of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Philip Rotundo IV of Phoenix, Arizona, Rodger Gajeski, David Gajeski, Mary Speece all of Davenport, John Gajeski of Bettendorf, Iowa, Ann Gajeski of Davenport, Patrick Rotundo of El Paso, Texas, and Catherine Rotundo of Allen; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Rotundo, Sr.; son, Philip Rotundo, Jr.; and grandchild, Michael Gajeski. A private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Denison, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
