Gary Wayne Ellison of Plano, Texas passed away on October 18, 2016 at the age of 50. He was born on June 26, 1966 to Walter L. & Phyllis (Henry) Ellison in Fort Worth, Texas. Gary graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth in 1984. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree from North Texas and then his Master’s from TCU. Gary married Michele R. Frericks on September 21, 1996 in Coppell, Texas. He was very friendly to all and had a good sense of humor. Gary loved watching and supporting TCU. He loved his children and family dearly.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Michele Ellison; daughter, Erin Ellison; son, Evan Ellison all of Plano, Texas; brothers, Frank Ellison and wife, Karen of Keller, Texas, Mark Ellison of North Richland Hills, Texas; sister, Phyllis Ellison of Fort Worth, Texas; uncles, Johnnie F. Henry and wife, Linda of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Don Ellison and wife, Kaye of Fort Worth, Texas; nieces and nephews, Reagan Ellison, Kyla Johnson, Blake and Madelyn Frericks, Cole and Molly Nelson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Jean Frerick of Quincy, Illinois; brother-in-law, Matt Frericks and wife, Jennifer also of Quincy, Illinois; sister-in-law, Jackie Nelson and husband, Mike of Burlington, Iowa; cousins, David and Pam Henry of Conway, Arkansas, Diane and Russ Moore of Maumelle, Arkansas, Sharon and James Nelms of Fort Worth, Texas; and many other loving family and friends.
He was preceded by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening, October 23, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
