Gary Alan Thompson, age 62 of Flower Mound, Texas passed away on March 19, 2009 in Flower Mound. He was born on December 14, 1946 in Evansville, Indiana to Forrest and Ethel (Huett) Thompson. He served his country in the US Navy from 1967-1971. Gary was self-employed in the insurance industry for over 30 years and was a member of the Richardson Masonic Lodge #1214 in Richardson, Texas. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Thompson Rathke and her husband, Michael of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Andrea Heiser and her husband, John of Henderson, Nevada; the daughters’ mother, Janis Frick Thompson of Flower Mound; grandchildren, Tylar Billy, Nicholas Heiser and Chloe Heiser; brother, William Thompson and his wife, Marian of Evansville; niece, Pamela Thompson of Evansville, and a host of beloved friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas with Pastor Roy Williamson officiating.
