Mr. Gary Lee Rouse, age 52, of Allen, Texas, passed away February 24, 2004, in Plano, Texas. He was born March 21, 1951, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Harold Richard and Cora Lorraine (Smith) Rouse. He was a member of the First Christian Church in McKinney, Texas, where he was an elder and a Sunday School teacher in the Disciples Class. He was also a Sunday School teacher at Westmont Christian Church in Lubbock, Texas, for over 10 years. He taught German at the college level and was a technical writer. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Rouse of Allen, Texas; sons, Kirk Rouse, Chris Rouse and Kelly Rouse, all of Allen; and mother, Mrs. Cora L. Rouse of McKinney, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Saturday, February 28, 2004, at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Dr. Neill Grimes officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity or the First Christian Church Building Fund in McKinney.
