Gail Willis, age 87, of McKinney, Texas passed away April 4, 2011. She was born February 9, 1924 in Irving, Texas to Henry Paris Russum and Tillie (Hacker) Russum. On May 11, 1940 she married Bryant Willis in McKinney, Texas. Gail was a retired cafeteria manager with the McKinney Independent School District. She was a wonderful caregiver to her family as well as other families whom she served. Gail was a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church formerly First Baptist Church of Fairview. She is survived by her daughters, Lou Spiegel and husband, Buddy of Arlington, Texas, Roxanne Hackler and husband, Tim of Austin, Texas, Kay Willis of McKinney, Texas and Rhonda Schultz of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren, Rick Willis, Allen Willis, Jesse Willis, Lori Willis Taylor- Edson, Christy Spiegel McNew, Brian Hackler, Rachel Hackler, Eric Johnson, Lacey Johnson and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Henrietta Devine of Edgewood, Texas, Margaret Lewis of Garland, Texas, and Frances Dyer of Lancaster, Texas; brother, Gene Russum of Dallas, Texas and numerous nephews, nieces and other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Tillie Russum; husband, Bryant Willis; three sons, Howard, Richard and George; sister, Anne Klepper; brother, I. J. Russum and great-grandchild, Bailey Willis. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2011, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Dennis George, Rev. Lyn Cypert and Rev. Don Bourland officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
