Gail Patricia Mazzei, age 69, of Plano, Texas, passed away May 1, 2013, in Plano. Gail was born July 13, 1943, in Suffern, New York, to Martin Alfred and Eleanor Joyce (Thiry) Kinard. She married Joseph R. Mazzei on September 19, 1964, in New York. Gail grew up in Nanuet, New York and graduated from Spring Valley Senior High School in 1962. She worked as an administrative assistant most of her life in various areas. Gail enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed working on the interior design of her home as well as gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Mazzei of Plano, Texas; children, Diane DePiazza and partner Stacey Wychopen of Corinth, Texas and Brian Mazzei and wife, Angela of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Vincent DePiazza, Joseph DePiazza, and Brianna Mazzei; sister, Carol Monte and husband, Mike of Bonham, Texas; and brother Alan Kinard and wife, Gloria of Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., on Friday evening at the funeral home.
