Fredda Fay Davison, age 97, of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 6, 2016. She was born January 30, 1919 in Vivian, Louisiana, to Liston A. and Birdie B. (Stone) Johnson. On June 18, 1938, Fredda married Emile A. Davison, Jr. in Vivian, Louisiana. She was a volunteer at McKinney Medical Center and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. Fredda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, Craig Davison and wife Evelyn of McKinney, Texas, Richard Davison and wife Judy of Aubrey, Texas; grandchildren, Blaine Davison and wife Nedalie, Brooke Davison Van Horne and husband Andy, Ben Davison and wife Jody, Colin Davison, Courtney Thorson and husband Brandt; great-grandchildren, Trevor Davison, Isabel Van Horne, Laura Van Horne, Jack Thorson, Luke Thorson and Olivia Davison; sister, Gladys Sauls; many other loving relatives and friends.
Fredda is preceded in death by her husband, Emile A. Davison, Jr.; parents, Liston A. and Birdie B. Johnson; siblings, Liston Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Francis Britt and Mary Harper Johnson Steen.
