Frazer Morian

Mr. Tucker Frazer Morian, age 84, of McKinney, Texas passed away May 26, 2004, at his home. He was born March 5, 1920, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Clarke Harton and Mary (Frazer) Morian. He grew up outside Philadelphia and attended Haverford School and graduated from Haverford College. He started work in the defense industry at Jacobs Aircraft Engine in Pottstown, Pennsylvania in 1941, where he worked in engineering department. When World War II started he received a release to join the U.S. Air Force. In 1947, he came to Texas to work at Dixie Chemical Co. in Houston. Serving as an officer and director, he completed 37 years with the company. He was a past president of Houston Chemical Club. He also belonged to Bethany Christian Church and the Houston Rotary. He moved to Collin County for retirement and lived in McKinney. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, the Order of Founders and Patriots and the McKinney Fellowship Bible Church. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bush Morian of McKinney; daughter, Barbara Morian of Bossier City, Louisiana; son, Richard Morian and wife, Christina of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew Campbell, Sarah Welty and Joshua Tucker Morian; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Morian Bell of Lansdale, Pennsylvania and Jane Morian Foster of Winchester, Virginia; and several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 29, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel.
