Mr. Frank Joseph Mellone, age 66, of Frisco, Texas passed away August 5, 2006, in New York. He was born September 2, 1939, in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Louis D. and Vera (Aceto) Mellone. On August 13, 1960, he married Sandra Paulsen in Kenosha. Mr. Mellone was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee with a BA in Education. He had a great love of music and performed with many musicians during the years. He was a lifetime member of the Musicians Union and Elks Club. He was also the owner of the Music Center of Racine in Racine, Wisconsin. Mr. Mellone was an active member of Preston Meadow Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Mellone of Frisco, Texas; children, Michael Mellone and his wife, Candace of Plano, Texas, Michelle Mellone of Frisco, Texas and Mark Mellone and his wife, Gina of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Emily, Cole, Perry, Anthony and Dominique; brother, Gerald Mellone and his wife, Laurel of Brookfield, Wisconsin; father, Louis Mellone of Kenosha, Wisconsin; and many loving family members. His mother, Vera preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2006, at Preston Meadow Lutheran Church, 6801 Coit Road in Plano with Pastor Art Going officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the church for visitation. Memorials may be made to the Preston Meadow Lutheran Church Piano Fund.
