IN LOVING MEMORY

Frank Edward Frey

Oct 25 1932 - Aug 08 2008

Frank Edward Frey, age 75, formally of Dallas and a resident of Fairview, TX, passed away while enjoying a trip with friends in New Orleans, LA. After enduring several debilitating conditions, Mr. Frey succumbed to a massive stroke, and peacefully passed away August 8, 2008 with his wife Cindy, daughter Kimberly, and son Frank Jr. at his side. Frank will be missed by all who knew him. Frank was born October 25, 1932, in Upland, California, the son of John and Josephine Frey. He attended San Diego State University where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. On December 22, 1953, he married his college sweetheart Cindy, in a beautiful ceremony in San Diego. He interrupted his college studies to enlist, and proudly served his country in the United States Army where he was recognized as an expert rifle marksman. After graduating at the top of his class from OCS Training and Flight School he was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. While in Germany, his children were born. After six years in the service, Frank received his college degree in mathematics and Physics from Texas A&M University. Frank worked for IBM in sales and sales management in Houston for twelve years. After a transfer brought Frank to Dallas, he started several successful businesses before ultimately discovering the Shaklee business opportunity in 1976. This is where Frank would develop a multi-million dollar business and many lifelong friends over the next three decades. Frank attained the highest rank of sales leadership, “Master Coordinator,” in less than three years. Frank’s philosophy was “if you help others to attain their goals, you will ultimately realize yours!” Frank is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Cindy; daughter, Kimberly Frey Smith and husband George of Dallas; son, Frank E. Frey, Jr. and wife Susan of Plano, TX; and sister, Mary Linda Wynn and husband Lynn of Caldwell, ID. Frank especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, Peyton Caroline age 14, Melanie age 13, and Tripp (Frank Frey III) age 10. Frank was a man of extreme integrity, a most generous individual, a caring Christian, and a devoted husband and father. To celebrate Frank Frey’s life, the family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday, August 14, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, TX. A memorial service will also be held at this location at 12:00 PM, Friday, August 15, 2008, with Rev. Terry Parsons officiating. A morning graveside service with military honors commemorating Frank’s service as a veteran will be held for the immediate family. Taps will be played, and the American flag will be presented to Mrs. Frey.
