Mr. Francis Patrick McGuire, age 82 of The Colony, Texas passed away July 8, 2004 at his residence. He was born May 23, 1922 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Hugh Jolly Davis and Charlotte Sylvestre. On July 22, 1943 here married Diane Claudia Shauger in New York State. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was of the Roman Catholic faith. Francis is survived by his wife, Diane McGuire of The Colony; children, Claudia Modroll and husband, James of Pleasanton, California, Michael McGuire and wife, Robin of La Crescenta, California, Francine Daniels and husband, Gregory of The Colony, Texas, Kevin McGuire and wife, Sue of Henderson, Nevada; six grandchildren, Manesseh Ibanez and husband, Joseph, Melinda Carr, Christine Modroll, James Modroll, Vance McGuire, Heather McGuire; two grandchildren, Gabriel Ibanez, and Isabella Ibanez. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 12, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7000 Morning Star, The Colony with Father Publius Xuereb and Pastor Ricky Texada officiating prior to cremation. A visitation will be held Sunday, July 11, 2004 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas.
