Mr. Francis “Leo” Harrington, age 64 of McKinney, Texas passed away July 9, 2006 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born August 7, 1941 in Bassfield, Mississippi to John W. and Mary E. (Kerley) Harrington, Sr. Leo was Electronic Data Systems first customer service representative hired in April 1965. After holding numerous positions he retired from EDS in October 1999 after 34 years of service. Leo formally a Garland resident has been a McKinney Resident for over 18 years. He was a devoted husband and loving father who will be missed. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Harrington of McKinney, son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Tracy Harrington of Flower Mound, daughter, Melissa Harrington of McKinney and 2 grandchildren, Mindy Godfrey of Plano and James Harrington of Flower Mound. He is also survived by brothers, Billy Harrington of Rowlett, Cahill Harrington of The Colony, Kenneth Harrington also of The Colony, David Harrington of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Charlie Harrington of Bassfield, Mississippi and sister, Mary Coulter of Bassfield, Mississippi along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Baptist Church, 6600 W. Virginia Parkway, McKinney, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday July 12, 2006 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
