Frances Anne (Pinky) Young was born in Enid, Oklahoma on September 20, 1931, to Margaret and Ferdinand Boudreau. She married James Burke Young on November 28, 1957 and they moved to Texas in 1969. She was a Registered Nurse by profession and received her diploma from St. Anthony’s in Oklahoma City in 1953. She last worked at Hunt Memorial Hospital in Greenville from 1986 to 1996. They had five children, Sarah Young of Greenville, Texas, Erin Guzowski of The Colony, Texas, Bridget Wolfe of Rowlett, Texas, Brennan Young, who passed in 2011, and Suzi Vaga of McKinney, Texas.
Pinky had four grandchildren; Patrick Vega, Anthony Vega, Derick Wolfe and Gretchen Wolfe. She also is survived by a sister: Mary Davis of Katy, Texas, and two brothers: Jack Boudreau of Sugarland, Texas, and Dr. Dan Boudreau of Corpus Christi, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2015, in the chapel of Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville, Texas.
