Funeral services for Frances Macon, 79 year old Bailey area resident, are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel in Leonard, Texas with Rev. Brian Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery near Gober, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday, May 5, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Macon was born June 27, 1928, the daughter of Frank and Willie Ann Babers Hembree at Gober, Texas. She married Billy Tom Macon on December 26, 1953 at Bonham, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bailey, Texas. Memorials may be made to the Bonham Public Library or the First Baptist Church of Bailey, Texas. She is survived by her son Mark Macon and his wife Barbara of Irving, TX; daughter, Vicki Richardson and her husband Vernon of Bailey, Texas; and grandson, Zeke Richardson of Bailey, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her three brothers, Ray, Bill and Paul Hembree.
