Floy “Sweetie” Havine Kindle of McKinney, Texas passed away May 29, 2015 at the age of 95. She was born August 26, 1919 to John A. Caraway and Annie (Lewis) Caraway in Denton County, Texas. Floy married Jimmie Kindle on October 19, 1938 in Prosper, Texas. She was known as “Sweetie” to many and to her family she was known as “Mama Sweetie”. Floy was a nurse for the McKinney Job Corps where she retired. She was a member of Southside Assembly of God Church in McKinney.

Floy is survived by; grandchildren, Lisa Gurley of Oklahoma City, Tina Martin of McKinney and Tim Kindle of Sherman; great-grandchildren, Joey Curington of Oklahoma City, Jay Curington of Oklahoma City, Taylor Brown of Dallas, Collin Stevens of Plano, Brittany Tilley of Van Alstyne and Chelsea Kindle of Van Alstyne; great-great-grandchild, Wesley Gage Caraway also of Van Alstyne; daughter-in-law, Joyce M. Kindle of Oklahoma City; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Kindle; son, Gerald W. Kindle, great-grandchild, Jamie Kindle; sisters, Annie Mae Darland, Bertha Mason, Cleo Bothwell, and Velma Audra Martin; brothers, Paschal Caraway, Wayne Caraway, and Floyd Caraway.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment is to follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Monday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
