Mrs. Faye McCarley, age 80, of Decatur, Texas passed away June 29, 2008, in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was born December 27, 1927, in Fannin County, Texas to Arthur Lonzo and Allie Mae (Hendrixson) Vandagriff. On August 11, 1945, she married Troy Lee McCarley in Sherman, Texas. Mrs. McCarley was a member of the Texas Westerneers Riding Club of Euless and Cockrill Hill Riding Club. She was also a member of the Pleasant Grove Cowboy Church. She is survived by her husband, Troy Lee McCarley of Decatur; children , Ronnie McCarley and wife, Susie of Forestburg, Texas, Pam Walsh and husband, H.L. of Paradise, Texas and Kim McCarley also of Decatur; grandchildren, Jimmy McCarley of Azle, Texas, Buffy Strange of Buna, Texas and Ryan Meals of Paradise, Texas; great-grandchildren, Micah McCarley and Ty Meals; and sister, Anna Cunningham of Wills Point, Texas. She was preceded in death by 9 siblings. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Pleasant Grove Cowboy Church, 4789 S. FM 730 in Decatur with Rev. Roland Hodge officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation at 6:00 p.m., prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday prior to the service, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
