Faye Turrentine Dugdale

Mrs. Faye Turrentine Dugdale, age 95, of Dallas, Texas passed away September 3, 2006, in McKinney. She was born September 24, 1910, in rural Pickton, Texas to Richard J. Turrentine, Sr. and Stella Ruthie (Sparks) Turrentine. On December 17, 1947, she married Bill Dugdale in Ft. Worth, Texas. Faye was a graduate with a Masters in Education from East Texas State Teacher's College now known as Texas A&M Commerce. She spent her career teaching in northeast Texas. Faye retired from the Richardson ISD where she taught at Mark Twain Elementary and North Lake Elementary schools. She was a member of the White Rock Newcomers, Dallas Newcomers Book Club and Delta Kappa Gamma. Faye was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. Faye is survived by her brother, R. J. Turrentine of Plano, Texas; nephews, Billy W. Turrentine of McKinney, Mickey Eager of Longview, Texas, John Bruce Eager of Highland Village, Texas, Steve Turrentine of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Rick Turrentine of Houston, Texas; and a number of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dugdale; her parents, Richard and Stella; brothers, Audie Turrentine and Billy Frank Turrentine; and sister, Mozelle Kemendo. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday for visitation prior to the service at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
