Fay Doyle Hardin

Mr. Fay Doyle Hardin age 92 of Princeton, Texas passed away on July 15, 2006 in Allen, Texas. He was born on May 23, 1914 in McKinney, Texas to Thomas Leslie and Maggie Lee (Wallace) Hardin. In 1946, he married Frankie Johnson Hardin in Grapevine, Texas. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in January of this year. Mr. Hardin served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII. He retired a farmer and was a member of the East Fork Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Frances “Frankie” Hardin; son, John Hardin and wife, Lucretia; daughter, Diane Stewart and husband, Danny all of Princeton, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Hal Hardin of McKinney, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and many friends. Mr. Hardin was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lucille Hardin Pell, Ruth Evans, Ola Wallis, and Bernice Weems; and brothers, Curtis, Elmer, Grady, Harry, Tommy Hardin and Calvin McCown. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 18, 2006 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Ron Hathcoat officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
