Fannie McDowell, age 85, of McKinney, Texas, passed away October 30, 2010, in Gunter, Texas. Fannie was born January 27, 1925, in Wylie, Texas. She married Clyde Leon McDowell on August 1, 1982, in Allen, Texas. Fannie was a seamstress and a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughters, Nelda Luna of McKinney, Texas and Barbara Russell and her husband, Larry of Graham, Texas; brothers, Pete Stanfield of Irving, Texas and Jim Stanfield of California; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and sister, Eula Mae Fleenor of Gun Barrel City, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Donnie McCutchen, and brothers, George Stanfield and Melvin Stanfield. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
