Evelyn Rochester, age 79, of Addison, Texas, passed away November 24, 2008, in Addison. Evelyn was born August 15, 1929 in Dallas, Texas to Harvey Galbraith and Mary Lee (Moye) Dunn. She married Monroe Millman Rochester, Jr. on December 12, 1950 in Houston, Texas. Evelyn loved life including art, gardening, and her family. She was also a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Recer and her husband, D. R. of Allen, Texas; three grandchildren, Josh, Andrew and Sarah; sisters, Helen Klinkerman of Dallas, Texas and Dorothy Wells of Denison, Texas; brother, Tom Dunn also of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Peggy Detmer. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 29, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. Robert H. Thompson officiating.
