Funeral Services for Mrs. Ettia Lee Lipscomb Nobles, 89 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for Friday May 22, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ at Leonard. Burial will be in the Hill Cemetery at Trenton. Family visitation will be Thursday May 21, 2015 from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard.

Mrs. Ettia was born September 2, 1925 at Kanawha, Texas. Her parents were Jack and Narssie Elder Lipscomb. She married Willie Hue Nobles July 6, 1946 at Leonard. She was a member of the New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and she served as an evangelist for more than 50 years. She passed away Sunday May 17, 2015 at the Leonard Manor.

She is survived by her daughter: M.L. Nobles of Leonard; her brother: Willie Earl Nobles of Paris; her grandchildren: Johnny Nobles of Belgium, Michael Pye, Chandra Pye and Terry (Pete) Pye, all of Leonard, her great-grandchildren: Tavaris Pye, Trey Pye, both of Leonard, Jayla Hattaway and Alexis Hattaway, both of Wolfe City, Olivia Pye and Keilee Pye, both of Madill, Oklahoma, Christopher Brown of Wolfe City, Shirley Turner of Leonard and Linda Nobles of DeSoto; her sister-in-law: Irene Keys of Rowlett; nieces: Thelma Hughes and Margaret Patt, both of Paris and Cheryl Patt of Greenville; special nephew, Billy W. Patt; other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Mary L. Nobles and Mattie Ruth Nobles, her sisters, Annie Mae, Fannie Mae, Rosie and Pinkie, and her brothers, Zill, A.C., Scott, Othel, Walthel, and Buddy.
